Hey, do you know, people in the American army only earn 2k-3k a month, that's only 24k-36k a year. And when I said NYPD makes 20k-30k a year, I wasn't lying. It;s true. Don't believe me? Google it. ;]
i swear i saw 22-28k earlier , anyways i would think it's a rookie salary which raises after a year or 2 but not the average.
The NYPD, you can join it once you get a high school diploma, and you get around 20k a year and won't get anymore unless you go to college and study law enforcement. Oh BTW, cops get many benefits too. Many of the bad and corrupt cops get the most power, (you probably read that from the news posted on this site) Corrupt cops and their sexual harrassment, opening the police siren to speed and get home faster, staying at dunken donuts for an extra 10 minute even after they are called into duty and etc. Here's a personal experience. My brother ( we are asian ) was framed for possession of a knife, when the cops searched his body for a weapon. they found nothing. But they still charged him for possession and now he have to go to court. Oh, the person that framed my brother was white (not being racist or anything) and the cop that took this case was white too
so basically...you're saying you're not racist but they were >.>...although indirectly, what you said is sort of racist too since it sounds like you're assuming they framed you cuz you're asian and that they got away with it cuz they're white...sry if that's not what you meant but it's the internet, misinterpretations are bound to happen
When you work for public service like a policeman, it deosn't pay well at all. It just goes to show how much they hated their jobs to quite so quickly.
