Well for me, when I do group assignment (Like a word document), you can work on it the same time, changes are made at real-time and you know who made the changes and stuff... So people could log on anything to work on the assignment and not having to worry to meet up as a group, thus saving time ^^
well, in a programming point of view, say there is a team of software developers who are developing a code.. they can modify the code in real time, while another is also modifying the same code. the problem i see with this is that people will get fucking PISSED OFF lol im writing a code, the other guy rewrites my code, i end up breaking my monitor lol
this isn't new at all, there was Live Documents almost 1-2 yrs ago before Google Docs even existed even Adobe products have similar stuff in its community
this is more than just Google Documents. it's email, instant messaging. there's a realli cool feature where u can playback exactly how the messages were entered, etc.
