aww maybe she 'hid' them cos she didnt know how u was guna react to them but then u left after u found out...=S anyways, if my bf had a pet an i didnt, i wouldnt mind cos i'm like most animals but if its them insects like spiders etc then i'd still go out with him but i wouldnt want to have any interaction with those kind of insect pets lol. but i guess, if i did love them enough, i'd try to get used to the fact that ok they have a pet and i should 愛屋及鳥 or vice versa if i was the one with the pets. However i'm glad i dont have this problem of choosing between pets and my bf cos we pretty much have the same view on the pets' .
^ NO, she knew i didn't like pet but I didn't know she was a pre-vet. Anyway, looking back .. it was all about communication, communication, communication. Regardless, i believe the outcome would've been the same .. no pet .. lol
well it depends... if my guy has allergy problem with animals then i'll have to say bye bye to my pets... but if he just didn't want one around the house maybe we can find a way to compromise... i heard this lady wanted to get a cat... but her hubby didn't like pets... so she bought Vivian Chow's "Pet Diary" and read him a chapter everyday... by the end of the book her hubby actually wanted to get a kitty too... win win
lol thats a good example of when things can work out lol, but i remember there was an article posted on PA about that jealous boyfriend who cooked his gf's pet in 'revenge' lol..so gotta make the right choice in picking partner or pet loool
Apart from the fish, all my pets(dogs and turtle) are outdoors.I won't mind if my future husband have pets, not insects. If he doesn't like pets, then i will choose to get rid of them. Why?because atm, i'm really not attached to the pets and i'm not the one taking care of them now
I would never dump my pet for a guy! Personally, I don't think I would date someone that didn't like or have compassion for animals. Just so not my type.....
yeah... i heard some guy got jealous of his gf's puppy and threw it out the window... gotta be extra careful when choosing a guy... especially those who don't like little animals *cough cough*
i hope you weren't referring to me *cough cough* .. i don't like pet cuz it reminds me too much of lab work. i performed experiment on animals back in college .. dog, cow, rabbit, and mice. so yeah .. the last thing i want around my house or anywhere i stay is a pet running around.
I don't really care about having pets as long as they do not share my bed. They just stay where they belong-in their own bed-or cage....
it was difficult and scary doing those experiments .. i had to get help each time .. whenever i was working in the lab, the sounds of animals practically drove me nut and to know that their lives will be terminated after my experiments are done .. sigh .. SAD .. so yeah, i have good reason to stay away from animals.
I have seen too many of this questions. I think the first question we should ask ourselves is do we really need a pet? Are we committed enough? Having pets is all about responsibility and most important of all a proper planning so that it will not burden anybody in very near future. I believe that most of the pet owners make their decision out of the blue, so thats why our local PAWS, SPCA and other animal shelter is full of unwanted pets. Bear in mind this unwanted pets will be put to sleep every 2 months. If we have time go and visit those pet shelters before we even start to think about keeping a pet.
^ i kinda agree with flaming .. the two pics aren't as cute .. lol @jenn77 ... gals are usually the ones that make impulsive decision about having pets .. lol
awwwwwwwww KAY!! you're killing me with all the cuteness!!-blush2-blush2 but not too keen on puppies playing dress up lol..but its still cute
