    Hi all,

I know there used to be a sticky describing all the different formats but I can't find it anymore through the search function in the drama section. I am just curious what is the difference between the dvd-rmvb files vs the regular rmvb files? I didn't notice any big differences when I watch the two different format side by side on my computer screen. I do notice the HD quality on the mkv files.

    Thanks!

DVD RMVB = DVD ripped into RMVB format
RMVB = usually means TV ripped into RMVB format

    bbes Incredible

this is because the tv ripped rmvb usually have a slightly lower resolution than the dvd ripped ones. however, the resolutions is only slightly lower which prob explains why u cannot notice the difference much. personally i get the tv ripped ones anyway as they save more space and are released quicker if i am following a series.

If you can download movies that are dvd-rmvb, then you should select these over the other formats.
