Anyone happen to join the network already? I'm really thinking about switching.$35 for unlimited province wide calling? Yes please! Well from what I can see Wind has great plans, but their plans depend highly on the "WIND home zones" which are located in the GTA and some of the surrounding area as well as Calgary. So far the only planned home zone expansions I know of for 2010 are for Ottawa and Edmonton. Hopefully they expand a huge chunk of southern Ontario.
the $5 unlim txt to usa is so tempting but the plans don't match what fido offered me when i signed my contract in feb..im stuck on 3 years www.windmobile.ca/
only available to Calgary & Toronto, plus you have to buy their phone at FULL price and they don't sell WIND Mobile SIM card yet...
No SIM card is quite the turnoff. Seriously? I've been hearing a lot about this windmobile thing but I'm sure this outgoing text thing will turn people away from it.
You get 50 outgoing texts for the $35 plan and you can add unlimited text for $5, which is a lot cheaper than say Telus. I believe I'm paying around $5 or more for my text add on, but its not unlimited. Right now I wouldn't go with them. Probably wait till they expand more. And I agree that the full price for phones is kind of a downer =\. Sometimes contracts are a good thing. Say if you're poor... Like me. lol
Fido has unlimited text starting from $15 which also includes 50 minutes with unlimited evenings&weekends.
i like it, i NEVER sent out a text msg in my 8 years with Fido think about it guys, even the cheapest plan has the Call Forward, Call Waiting & Caller ID included, the Caller ID is worth $7 a month from Fido :ugh:
I heard some areas around the GTA dont have reception yet.. Like Scarborough going into Markham its switches to Rogers so your paying for roaming. Wait for a month or two to see how the feedback is...hofo forums..
