My first Rusell Peters moment

So I was in a camera shop in Singapore. I wasn't going to buy anything but I was interested in the prices for a lens.
I saw a lens that I was thinking about buying but the guy was charging $550 for the lens. I saw the same lens on ebay
for around $50 dollars so I was trying to be polite and told him that I would look elsewhere. The guy kept bringing the price
down from 550 to 500, 450, 400, 350 and then finally to $200. I still told him that I will look around and come back later;
and then he says "This is final offer, Be a Man! Be a Man! Stop acting like little girl, be a Man!" xD

 

hahah.. wow... you should have jus told him 25 dollars and see what he said..

I know I should have said that; start as low as possible and work my way up...

 

you should have told him to "do the right thing" and bring the price down to $50 or else "somebody is going to get a hurtin real bad".

 

lmfao are you serious?? maybe that is how he gets people.. start high and offer huge discount

 

yea but if you go from 550 all the way to 200 in 50 increments.. that would make anyone go wtf?

I would look at thinking did you steal this or buy it off someone?

 

thats how alot of places do it and then they say only for you i give you a hugh discount and make you feel special
