    Everyone keeps referring to the device with the name TASER, which is not correct. The TASER employs electronic darts that are shot out from the weapon (up to 10 meters) but remain connected to the weapon via thin wires. The wires then carry an electric charge to the victim.

    The device use by the person in this video is a common stun gun, where one must get into close proximity with the intended victim.

    Everything, even air, will offer resistance to electric charges. However, the amount of such resistance is often considered so negligible that it is functionally meaningless, as is the case of the coat, LOL...
