    Hi all

I was wondering how much this phone (Nokia 2730) sells for brand new in Hong Kong? Whats the cheapest you can get this for?

Just comparing because i can either ebay it or buy it in HK in a months time.

Also are there any HK websites that give the market price of phones in HK atm?

    Thanks for the help!

Why don't you try eBay HK
I'm know sure if that'll make a difference

What version do you look for?
    - The HK version
    - The parallel import version
The latter is cheaper due to no warranty

I don't mind. If you can find out the price of both at a shopfront that would be good. I don't really need warranty as i won't be using it in HK.

In response to trying ebay, i already found the price on ebay, but i would like to know how much it is in a shopfront. This is because i can either buy one on ebay and get it sent from HK or get someone to buy it in HK for me when they go there in February.

well on fortress the price is $1088 so that's how much it will cost to get it in hk from fortress. don't know whether the cost is cheaper where u live. hk isn't that cheap for mobile phones. often i find it greater value for money to get the phone where i live on contract.

I live in Australia. The phone is for my parents. Thats why it is a basic Nokia. They want the native Chinese interface, with the Pinyin Strokes on the keypad and the Pinyin text entry modes. Thats why i gotta buy from HK.

Do people know of other websites, such as fortress, or electronic stores/chains in HK?

    Thanks

yea u can, they usually do it in chinatown here, the stores which provide unlocking can also put the chinese version of firmware on ur phone. but i'm not sure about aussie. though i presume they could do the same.

So if someone who lives in HK could find out for me the going price of the 2730 it'd be awesome!
