cus apple charge premium, makes it more exclusive, thats how it works, make it pricey and it sells more. and thats the correct price, i saw the same one for £2200 which is even more in dollars
i still wouldn't pay that much for a computer... i mean yes it would be a little bit cheaper if i build it myself but i think apple/Mac is basicly using the "i'm the only manufacturer/brand to do this blah blah blah" basicly mac users r buying the name not for what they are using?
yup, thats why i said apple charge a premium, and we were told in media studies that artificially high prices make products more desirable and they sell more. 1.5k for a pc is to much, i wouldnt do it again nor would i build my own one though. just get a nice one from dell or pcworld.
What is ability without will? I have no desire to build a PC, I would rather pay a little more and buy one assembled. with my current PC specs i dont see myself needing to buy a pc for maybe another decade, all ill do is add new parts here and there which im fine with, but building from scratch, forget that.
true but then i meant to those who knows how to build one that should keep on building their own rahter than buying something where they have to pay the extra and unneeded labour costs im happy with my laptop and its a second hand one since my sister used it first... but i dont see why some people r telling me to get new laptops or netbooks because i said mine is 2nd hand? oh if you like making pc's then its defo cheaper, you can make a better one that the apple for less but it wont have the street cred. i would like to have a lap top, sometimes i wana use the pc but be in bed, i would like the £599 laptop here yeah in designer clothing it is better quality materials but still way overpriced, but in things like the latest Nike which are made on the same production line of trainers that will sell for not even 1/3 of the price of the nike, its real crazy. i cant remember all the details but there is a reason why people do it, its fully documented and formalized, marketers use it to their advantage, believe me, the majority of humans are just puppets.
clothing and fashion brand is a lot different to computer systems brands tho... coz clothing and fashion uses so many materials for different qualities which i would willing be paying my whole savings for that perfect piece of clothing because of the quality whereas computer hardwares there are many of them out there that has same specs but at different brands... which one would you go for? the name or the price?
Clothing better quality better fashion styles, but these days zara and h&m are making high end fasion styles more affordable changing the designs a bit to make it their own. computers i remember alienware going up to 15,000k so if thats still the case u gotta be a millionaire or an idiot to buy it. apple i can only face palm at their prices still.
Mac users.. Way too many kids buyin' Macs 'cause they think they're hot shit after. Lost count at the amount of people with a mac in lectures thinking they're badass.
