ermmm from what I see in society now this is wrong but if we went back to medieval times and what not... it might have been a little bit wrong but maybe common at the same time? considering back in the day girls were getting married and having kids around 10 - 12 years old dunno if my facts r right tho..
That is just unbelievable. I thought a female couldn't have a baby until she had her period. The 9 yr old is more reasonable than the 5 yr old who had a 6lb baby. I don't even think a 5 yr old could born a healthy 6lb baby.
back then it depended on your class etc also, life expectancy was lower etc but there was no sex till puberty which was in their teens... back then anyway..
wtf...a five yr old had a kid as well? how can she carry the baby within her? thats just crazy.. young girls are suppose to enjoy their childhood an grow up first.//not spendin it as damn young mothers..
Precocious Puberty is the abnormal early onset of sexual maturation, with the earliest aged case of impregnation and subsequent successful delivery being recorded in Peru. Lina Medina was reportedly just five years, seven months, and twenty one days old when she was delivered of a 2.7 Kg male child via Caesarean section on 14 May 1939. Her parents had taken her to a clinic after noting an abnormal abdominal size. Upon diagnosis of her pregnancy, her father was arrested on suspicion of child rape and incest but was ultimately released from lack of solid evidence. Wiki has a picture of her if anyone has a taste for the macabre and want to look it up. In the medical literature, there have been other listings and historical notations going back to the early 1800's of female babies with fully formed breast tissue and pubic hair noted at the time of their birth. Typically it is female nearly 10 time more prevalent than male, and is thought to occur secondary to inappropriate endogenous or exogenous hormonal exposure. This then prematurely triggers the normal cascade of necessary reproductive physiologic changes (menarche) to enable these bizarre events. Socially, their maturing outward appearance may elicit inappropriate attention or sexual interest in adults; as children they are otherwise unprepared to defend themselves against the physical advances by such adults. Sadly, I suspect that this was another such case. While paternity in the Medina case is historically moot, modern DNA analysis should easily identify the culprit in this event. As this happened in the PRC, I'm sure that any government official there can find a way to order all the adult males within the child's circle to undergo testing; a slam dunk IMHO. Just a matter of time.
yes it might be wrong, but think about it, if the girl is married with the guy, this is the ONLY way to have 70th Anniversaries... if you attend a 70th+ anniversary parties, would you give the host the dirty & strange look? :jump:
-huh... This is probably the most unlikely rationale that I've ever heard to mitigate the crime of child rape; forgive me, but frankly, I really don't see anything within this as having a silver lining of any sort.
I really can't imagine a 5 year old giving birth, same with the 9 year old girl....-shock I think we are talking about rapeing, it must be someone close-nono
dam. I heard of a 12 year old french prostitute being pregnant during WWII. But dam, thisis ridiculous. It's getting smaller by the numbers.
So scary... It even mentions a 5 year old girl in Peru giving birth too. What has this world come to!?
