Microsoft's Windows 7 operating system has been on store shelves for just a matter of months, but a document leaked by an ex-Microsoft employee suggests that the software giant's next major release could be scheduled for mid-2011. Chris Green, an ex-Microsoft developer, revealed the speculative date as part of an extensive document revealing product support life cycles for a number of Microsoft's key products. The document, which was originally made available via a Microsoft blog but has since been pulled, suggests Windows 8 could be released in July 2011, followed by Windows Server 2012 and Office 2012 a year later in July 2012. Giving credence to the document are correct dates for other software releases - including a June 2010 release for Office 2010. Windows 8, which is known to have been in development for some time, had previously been penned for a 2012 release, but recent speculation has suggested that Microsoft may shorten its Windows release cycle. Microsoft is yet to comment on the validity of the dates in Green's document, but should they prove to be correct, Windows 8 could arrive two years after the completion of Windows 7. http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=22140 Here it seems M$ are talking about Win8 already http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=22379
Nope coz I don't for downloading win7 and Office2007 Blue ed. (I think its the blue ed.) and saved myself some money
^ Seriously -_-, I haven't bought one software since... ever I feel bad once in awhile for those producers but I overcome them pretty quickly
^ Why feel bad when the producers are earning like more than they are suppose to? I mean we have to look after our wallet and spend it on necessary things that we have to buy can't get for free
^ the others will get more jobs to work on to get their salary student = poor = me => no regret to download haha
who needs windows 8 or cares. history tells us that they seem to make a bad os every other turn haha.
It's always best to buy the OS that works with the least number of issue and most number of applications. In my view, that's still XP. When Windows 15 (or whatever) can claim that, then I'll upgrade. Until then, I'm fine with my XP.
^ windows XP is definitely more geared up for business..... windows 7 is more for the average user.... the next OS for business might just be the upcoming one.
