I still don't get why Canada is considered a favorite for Hockey. We won 1 gold in the last 50 something years. I personally don't expect Canada to win hockey, especially after watching their Switzerland game. ________ Marijuana vaporizer
no i agree with the front line thing, and that they lost the puck and all, but imo, luongo would have been a more solid goalie. he would play more similarly like miller. take a look at miller, he's a frigging wall, he stayed his grounds. with marty, the guy goes behind the net to get a shot at the puck, with 2 americans next to him. the way brodeur plays is fine, if the play was more of a defense containment.. but here, it's a run and gun play, and he needs to be able to fend for himself. also, the three man slam *facepalm*
anyone watching canada game on omni2? with cantonese commentator? its shit and this guy should just lose his job because he doesn't even know what he says and just criticizes everything the players do. First he keeps saying players r doing so and so because they're tired but some just got off the bench. Another is him slamming canadian players saying they're out of position and just passing the puck at the blue line instead of shooting but canada's goals came from being near the crease. He says more stuff like saying how canadians r bad because they go in the zone behind one another instead of one on each wing then later says they're dong the right thing having 2 players going in the same wing front and back. This guy is just annoying and stupid and i want to report him to omni lol. Im not talking about the regular Alex Chum. Its some other guy i forget his name but last name Tang. And he doesn't even commentate but just criticizes. Its stupid.
thats the first time i saw chinese people call a hockey game... hilarious...u can tell they had no clue what they saying just reading off the paper and their lap top....oh well...they should go back to calling soccer games.
Its official Luongo is starting against Germany. I'm assuming unless germany scores 1 very bad goal or more than 1 goal, then Luongo will get the start against Russia. I still have a feeling Fleury could deliver if given the chance, but it would be pointless to stick him between the pipes this late into the olympics.

saw the hockey game when it was 2-2 gaved up watching after USA scored the third... Was actually hoping for Canada to win lol Oh well, better luck in 4 years time. Who won the Chinese/Canadian curling game? I stopped after 3-1.. when Canada got the 1 point. I also heard the commentators saying that the USA Hockey team (men) are full of NJ Devil player.. and for us to have Brodeur in our net, it's stupid b/c the Devil players probably knew Brodeur's weak spot. So Luongo should start for Canada! Oh, and speedskating for men, which i forgot what distance it is, it was the final race.. and the 3 koreans were in 1st, 2nd, AND 3rd. They enter the last turn.. and 2nd + 3rd bumps into each other.. so only Korea got Gold in that event.. when they coulda got Gold, Silver AND Bronze. I was laughing at this for soo hard! (not sure if any of these were mentioned, i didn't read anything in the first page) EDIT: Yay, canada jus won germany 8-2
