LOL, me and my dad thought Sidney Crosby played SOOO bad during regulation. He lost the puck whenever he had it. My dad couldn't believe he was the hero of this game after playing soo bad in regulation! Congrats to Canada!
when crosby received his medal, people were yelling his name as if it were gretzky's. he felt uncomfortable, being the focal point of the night. he did not want the golden name. he has earned my respect. names that come to mind: getslaf, perry, toews, luongo and doughty. they played well, and they played hard. congrats Team Canada.
i thought the experience won the game today... scott niedermayer and chris pronger saved their best game for today toews getslaf doughty have been good all tourny long. Crosby did under perform till that game winner though but it doesn't matter Gold is ours!!
shit man i was working today but luckily i caught the game at work, freakin dt was full of people in white and red and people were honking their cars all day non stop up until the moment i left and still doing, so it was annoying at work. Im at home right now still hearing the car honks in my ears even though there are none. Dundas Square is still full of people and cops as of 12 am bay street down to queen telling people to honk their cars lol. Had to hi 5 random strangers in fear of getting beat up -bowroflarms The last time ive seen it this crazy was new years 1999-2000 , lotsa pride goin around so go Canada! now what would happen if the learfs won the cup?
thats why its so big leafs havent won one in 50 years and from the looks of it another 20....quite frankly toronto had no much luck in sports in general last time was the Blue Jays back to back world series! but we were too young to remember! shot of DT toronto after the win ...im was not shocked this city breathes hockey.

EDIT: didn't see last page. I didn't even watch the closing ceremony, i was playing PES 09. hehe LOL, Leafs winning the cup? I'd like to see when will that happen. I actually thought we actualy had a decent chance of making the playoffs.. with that whatever game winning streak we had.. but now we're struggling. We're slowly building up our team to be a strong one.. and so is the Raptors. I'd rather see Raptors win the champs than Leafs though first.! No offenec. OHH, I think Toronto can actually HOLD the SUMMER olympics ehh? I think they actually can do it.. is just that 'Do we have the room to do so'. Now, let's wait for FIFAAA!!!!
