Dual Screen in Inspiron E5200 Regular?

    Sorry for my comment in the other post about 3-Way-Screening.

    Anyways, is it possible to dual screen in Dell Inspiron E5200? Regular model, no slim.

    Windows 7 Ultimate.
    Processor: Pentium Dual-Core CPU. 2.50 GHz
    RAM: 4 GB (2.97GB usable)


    So is there a way to dual screen?

    your will need a video card has two output ports (VGA + DVI)
    and inside windows u can right click destop, properties and attach the 2nd monitor and check extend the desktop option

    if you just want the option of dual screen a simple 8400GS video card will do, but if you are looking for gaming, then check the higher end video card

    wait.. so i'll have to upgrade my video card?

    what about an adapter for the plug at the back of desktop.. where the 1st monitar go in. Where do i put my second?

  5. What other's have said basically.... dual screen is soley based on the video card..... unless you want to try the USB video route....

    $60 bucks is too expensive, i one i mention is only $30 LOL
