Sorry for my comment in the other post about 3-Way-Screening. Anyways, is it possible to dual screen in Dell Inspiron E5200? Regular model, no slim. Windows 7 Ultimate. Processor: Pentium Dual-Core CPU. 2.50 GHz RAM: 4 GB (2.97GB usable) So is there a way to dual screen?
your will need a video card has two output ports (VGA + DVI) and inside windows u can right click destop, properties and attach the 2nd monitor and check extend the desktop option if you just want the option of dual screen a simple 8400GS video card will do, but if you are looking for gaming, then check the higher end video card
wait.. so i'll have to upgrade my video card? what about an adapter for the plug at the back of desktop.. where the 1st monitar go in. Where do i put my second?
What other's have said basically.... dual screen is soley based on the video card..... unless you want to try the USB video route....
definitely upgrade your video card... A basic card that supports dual video out would only set you back like 60 bucks. Or you can get something which is actually useful for things like gaming for 160: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150447
