boy7404 I checked mms link they are not working anymore? If U have new one, can U PM Phantoman so the link don't go public? I think it was working but once too many people connect to it stop working completely.

First of all, please put FULL URLs in a hidden section. Channel 2206 comes and goes from time to time. Use PPLive until it comes back.

Given the choices I'd rather have PPLive. Can someone please kindly post how you stream what you see in a PPLive synacast URL to VLC? Or in a mms:// URL? I can easily do that with Sopcast or TVAnts but what I really want to do is to stream the output to TVersity or Orb (so I can play the channel in the living room via a Wii, PS3, or an XBox 360

I'll provide the url for streaming later on when I get home. I'm streaming it via an XBOX using XBMC.

TVB Jade HD seems to be back on SopCast, but the non-HD version is now down. I would say, if the non-HD version is down, then try the HD one. Sometimes it looks like they are playing a game with people, but hey ... it's for free :)

Please read the BIG red bold sentence in the main post at the top. Thx.

And yeah, SopCast is gone again I'm afraid. Use PPLive in the meantime.

For the Chinese readers or experimental users like me, I found a working SopCast stream through the all-in-one Haoetv p2ptv client which can be downloaded here: http://www.haoetv.com/download.html

It's all in Chinese characters, but if you get as far as installing it, then here are the basic steps:
    - Run it obviously.
    - Three big drop-down boxes appear in the middle of the application, click on the left one.
    - Then expand the 1st entry on the list at the right-hand side.
    - Scroll down until you see TVB翡翠台 and click on it.
    - It should now start buffering and play just like in SopCast.
    - You might have to click on the other *sop* links at the top if you are getting the recorded TVB which currently is the case. At the time of this writing, the 1st *sop* link is the recorded TVB stream and the 3rd *sop* link is the live TVB stream. See attached picture for an overview.

It's possible to stream the channel from another location (e.g. XBMC) just like with SopCast. I have no clue what is the direct SopCast link, but I have a feeling this is a private stream. Note that your standalone SopCast client won't work anymore. It's recommended you uninstall your p2ptv clients anyway before installing this all-in-one client.

If anyone finds more Cantonese channels on this client, please let me know. Thx.

Looks like it stopped working as well ... lol, maybe I should stop sharing stuff here.
Anyway, the SopCast link is not available from that all-in-one client, so I assume it's private. You can use the link from WMP to stream from a remote PC though, from the top of my head ... something like http://<your IP address>:8902 .
