yea u have to sometimes be careful with used stuff as u don't know what condition or how it has been treated previously. unless the condition is very new and u just know that it's in good condition then it's worth it to get. also to be honest $130 is rather ambitious in terms of price. used stuff usually drops price quite quickly unless it's been barely used.
Alright, Finally got some update from my brothers friend. So i'll answer your questions and see if its a good deal. Around 4 months. Don't think it has warranty because he got it as a gift. He needs money. my brother saw it in person.. should be around 9 or 9.5/10 in conditions.
Try to get it for $100 then if he "needs" money that bad.... Used iPod Touch in general aren't worth a lot.
i tried kijiji though and around 9/10 without box is like 120. But this is with box and the condition is around there.. so is 130 a kinda good deal? And my brother knows him personally so shouldn't bargain that much.
No, the kijiji one for 120$ was with no box.. i dont know that guy.. complete stranger. But the 130$ deal that I want to buy that my brother actually KNOWS the dealer IRL comes with a box, menu, charger, headphone, and itouch case. (9 or 9.5/10 Condition)
get him to lower the price to $110-$120 then?.... or just wait and get a new one that is coming out soon.

so noasian, would you get it if you were me? My 2GB 1st generation ipod is like.. dead. So i'm kinda desperate for an ipod. I can probably survive with my ipod now for another month.. but yeah.. annoying when you have to charge it everyday. And not to mention the space, its like full too
^^^iPod Touch... for me.. I have to charge it daily... 50% brightness, surfing the web, and playing scrabble with my friends in class (when teacher isn't watching).. battery life is like dead.. Just get it for $130 if you can't lower it. I would personally wait for the new one since your iPod can last one more month where as the new one should be coming out along with the iPhone 4th gen in June.
