^ No...if you have sf4 in your memory card or saves, you'll unlock 2 extra colour, 11 and 12, you don't get extra costume unless you pre-order the special dojo editions
Costumes are novelty DLC purchases. If you had previous SF4, you get two color filters for your characters. First one is a water color ink splatter and the second one is a pencil cross hatch effect. My Xbox just red ringed on me. I need to send this shit back. In the meantime, I'm going to get SSF4 for PS3. :(
^ Not water colour, it's the ink shader effect Water colour makes the character looks brighter apparently lol
I just picked up the PS3 version while my Xbox is being repaired at Micro$oft. Same tag, "SUPARSTARX" but I gotta play on shitty PS3 pad :(
depends on what your playing, fps, platform and racing games love the m$ pad, and even on sf the stick beats the ps3 pad which is what he was using..
PS3 pad is terrible for any fighting game. You can't do a lot of things for SSF4 on it. Teching is slow because I have to use my thumb to navigate the face. Can't plink moves. Thus doing link combos on pad is pretty much impossible to do especially if you need to link into buttons that are mapped to R1 and R2. Can't use "mashing" moves like Chun Li's lightning legs, E.Honda's hand slaps, and Blanka's electricity at a normal rate. Can't cancel Cody's normals into Zonk punches effectively (the "Bingo!" punch, which you have to hold down a punch) since if you hold down a punch, it has to be the trigger so you could use your thumb on Light and Medium punches and kicks. The triggers actually don't register until you push it down immediately, you push down further on the triggers to use those buttons than the amount of distance you push down for the face buttons. Can't do shortcuts for some moves conveniently. I can keep going on man.... Your thumbs won't control anything on pad faster than me using my hands and wrist on joystick for SSF4.
^ im going to have to disagree that ps3 pad is terrible on any fighting game(not because im a ps3 fab boy) but .. i was playing marvel vs capcom 2 on my friends 360 ... and i felt that the 360 controller was too bulky and too hard to use for a game as fast paced as mvc2 .... and if i was to try to run towards enemy it would be alot harder then it actually would on ps3 pad also when trying to do combos the buttons seems like theres too much of a button (if you know what i mean) where as ps3 pad its much eaiser to press and faster pace i also played tekken 6 on it and i thought that it was soo much easier with ps3 pad .. easier to do combos then on the 360 pad .. (also felt too bulky and when moving it seemed very hard to navigate ) oh and GIGI !!!!!!! 20 quid for joystick at HMV !!!!
well i was told .. probs was on sale ... apparently was a street fighter one ..... ill tell you when i get one and if its 20 quid .. xD
