where are these channels' source? are they from STAR IPTV? or made by yourself I am just asking thanks
thnx so much...>!! but the new TVB J link doesnt work now...offline at the moment? and J2 seems very laggy...sopcast b4 was great...thnx anyway
tried using proxy...TVB jade says unable to connect to server...J2 seems to work but very unstable...
I only had a chance to test the new MMS links just now. TVB Jade is currently closed, but TVB J2 and ATV Home stream just fine. They have had maybe 1 or 2 hiccups. Maybe not many people are watching at this time or something. MTV Asia could be better though, it stutters a lot. Anyway, for those having problems make sure you are using Windows Media Player (WMP) since it's the only player that I have found so far that can play RTSP (UDP) streams from MMS links properly. Most other players default to RTSP (TCP) or HTTP which will mean lots of buffering and stuff. So the first step is to go into WMP menu Tools -> Options -> Network and make sure RTSP (UDP) is enabled. To check whether you are using the correct protocol in Windows Media Player (WMP) during playback, go to the View menu and choose Statistics, then click on the Advanced tab. In the "Connection" section verify that the "Protocol" value is set to "RTSP (UDP)". Note: I'm based in Holland and did not require any proxies.
Hoi Hollander So the statistics in WMP show RTSP (UDP) ? I'm streaming TVB Jade, TVB J2 and ATV Home at the same time without any issues. I also configured Windows Media Services (WMS) to stream them from my XBOX. So maybe it's a difference between our Internet connection or maybe China has made me a VIP I'll keep testing and see how it goes though. Can you please define lagging ? ... the picture lags behind the sound ? ... or it keeps hanging (pausing few seconds and then continue) due to buffering ? ... or something else ?
[HIDE] [/HIDE] Thank you thank you. Have you try p2p streaming software like SOPCast. Maybe can improve other ppl experience who say sometimes stop. Again thx for effort! And thank you Phantom who maintain this thread.
I followed your steps completely but the protocol was still RTSP (TCP), not RTSP (UDP) when i was trying to change the url to rtspu://, the protocol on the Statistics changed to RTSP (UDP) but i got no package from the server is there any need to change the address or port forwarding? thank you very much
May you be able to broadcast this source to sopcast? because sopcast doesn't accpet any new registration now so that i could not be able to stream it in sopcast in order to have a better quality thank you so much

Let's try the following now if you feel the mms ones are unstable [HIDE] Download StreamTorrent (Google it, i don't have the download link, sorry) Install it, then open the programme Click File > Add > Type in st://AzwCgpwEdTQDNAaCoAHIgBZHvf7elPkYMtARLqcjOXhyihcEMDAwMYphAIpBB2RlZmF1bHSMogQxWlBO [/HIDE] the lasting of this channel is never guaranteed, but i am watching it, pretty stable you may try it temperoraily by the way, boy7404 your account has no registered channel, so i could not be able to stream tvb, sorry about that
