Did you have the problem that when the i played the address for about six minutes, it changes to a lower quality. And i tried in sopcast, when it is streamed for about six minutes, the server no longer uploaded package but when i restarted it about a second later, it still works, but stop again after six minutes i didn't know why it happens, may be it is the server's problem or could you please try it and see if that problem occurs.

it plays fine for around 5mins...then it drops to low quality and no video....have to reconnect every time
Those new links seem to be from http://3tv.cn . If that's true, then my guess is that the high quality stream is reserved for members. So I decided to do something desperate and try to pay for a member account ($37) using my Virtual MasterCard, but that failed. I even tried with my Prepaid MasterCard, still no luck. Since I don't trust that site I am not going to try with my main credit card. I can't read Chinese, so maybe I'm missing something. Btw, the other reason why I believe these are from 3TV is because you cannot re-stream them using WMS. Had this problem with them before. @taxidriverhk: I did some quick reading (so I might still have missed something), but from what I understood you need to have port 554/TCP open for incoming/outgoing and a range of UDP ports for incoming (by default some random range of ports). A fixed range of UDP ports can be specified in WMP though (see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/883831).
Thanks for the effort guys. Never been a fan of using wmp so hopefully sopcast links would be up and running again in the near future.
Hey, Somehow I can't open the mms links in wmp :S. It gives me the next error :S: "Cannot play the file because the given protocal is not supported. You can try another transportprotocal like http: or rtsp if you opened an URL in the open URL window. I've tried replacing mms with http: and rtsp, but without any succes :( I've checked the http://3tv.cn site using Norton safeweb and it seems that the site contains a type of malware that norton calls W32.Feebs so be careful.
I don't quite understand this step. xproxy.com is a site no longer active?? I already change mms to rtspu and it still disconnect after about 3 minutes. Using WM9 Tool -o-Network-rtsp-configure-use the following proxy server (I type "xproxy.com"). Port already 554 click ok . IT play fine the first 3 min than it automatically goes buffering in WMP. Any help will be appreciate.
Check if you have all protocols enabled in the Tools menu -> Options -> Network. And my cc balance is still there, so I guess I'm safe for now Thanks for checking though.
Hey, I've enabled all protocolls and multicast streams. The only thing that was not enabled was instructing wmp to use certain ports (7000-7007).
