most asians prefer a white skin. when i was in hk, i was like wtf?? it was like you saw cosmetic producs banner for getting a white skin in every corner. i think they want to become white, because white gives you some kind of "clean" -appearance
It's funny isn't it, no one is ever happy how they are White people (generally girls) want to be darker, and darker people want to be lighter. Me, I want to be inbetween =D haha best of both. It's a shame because I do think darker skin is beautiful, and whiter skin especially as white as mine just looks ILL.
Umm... try swimming indoors... lol... they have chlorine in teh water... might be able to bleach your skin... because that happened to me one summer... and i ended up going to indoor pools and my tan went away.. I don't know if that is the real reason why though.... lol... good luck
i think avoid whitening products? i heard they can make your complexion blotchy if you use it for a long period of time.
haha actually I do come back time to time to check the replies ;D thanks for the tips everyone ! I'm trying my best from getting more tan ;X I always make sure i apply sunblock on face and body and wear hats on very sunny days ^^
wear sunblock!!! i wear sunblock all year around. yes! even during winter time. it prevents premature wrinkles and lessen the chances of getting tanned. also, be mad asian and carry an umbrella. haha.
*SIGH* I got a weird tan that is only on the knuckles of my hands from driving. I think I need to start wearing gloves while driving or something. My hands are a different shade from the rest of my body!
Tanning ages your skin so be careful. i think you should just use an after sun lotion and let it fade by itself. If you try to whiten it you end up making your skin worse
well i dont think you should use whitening soap. it didnt help me as much and since i have really dry skin, it made my skin even worse. :/ one time i got a super bad tan on my legs but it eventually disappeared just put on sunblock whenever you go out
