full of hidden motives, evil plots, scheming family members...every episode full of surprise. i think the plot is similar to 2005 Drama The Charm Beneath 胭脂水粉 because its also a family business, family members evil scheme towards one another, some bits of romance, twists and revelations and same genre. How do you guys rate the series? like it? its ending soon though. pity!!
how many episodes are there? it just seems like they can make more conflict out of nowhere and keep dragging this series on. i can see bowie's character dying in the end though.
I like this series and the casts. Everyone is twisted in their own ways, but somehow, there's a warm feeling beneath them. I guess the antagonist of the story is really only bowie lam. The sisters just wanted power over the other, however, they never wanted to harm each other.
its not too bad of a series. Bowie's character is sooooo evil! i like him playing the bad guy. The sisters are just plain old stupid! Being played like that and scheming and being greedy!
The whole family is a disaster. Bowie, Jessica, Kiki, and dao tai yu, all of them had their own motive and back to self-instinct , they still had a good attribute in the mirror
One of the things that I look for during the intro to any of these TVB shows, is the number of smiles versus the number of frowns. In the lead in, not one person ever smiles. That sort of said it all for me, as to what kind of show this was going to be. That is, one that is full of sadness, fear, anger, and back stabbing plots. In other words, this was not going to be a happy show.
I like this series, no lovey dovey stuff! everyone is so evil, don't know who will turn evil next! XD it shows true human nature! I'm glad theres no goody two shoes in it! (charmaine would be the type of actress for that character)
I read on TVB forum that sisters of pearl was also a copy of a japansese drama. I found out the name of the drama its called Nyokei Kazoku [女系家族].
