You can't sell the same story as the media. Each team and franchise is diff't. Pierce has way bigger story than KG, RAY combined ! Pierce belongs to the CELTS ! You can't say the same for the others.

W/ LA, you definitely have KOBE making a legacy in purple and gold. You can correlate that together, but you can't just loop some stuff together.

  2. Pierce has stuck it out with the Celtics with no one marginally good, when ray allen and KG came into the picture in 06-07, we have made it to the playoffs each year. making it to the finals 2 of the 3 years, only missing the finals last year due to KG being injured.

Kobe is one guy and so is dwayane wade, lebron james, and dwight howard. Game 1 Thursday at 9pm EST

I think Boston has got this. The way they shut down Dwight, I have full confidence they can do the same to Gasol. Let Kobe go off for 30, who cares. I think the key here will be either Odom and Bynum. They will have to produce in both points and boards. Bynum needs to play good to get attention off Gasol, who's been playing amazing these playoffs.

If Boston keeps playing hard D, then I'll go with Celtics in 6.

data isn't always everything. kobe hit some very clutch shots late in the suns series and the numbers don't tell you the degree of difficulty on those shots.

and it looks like we'll see if the artest move finally pays off or not.

Don't remind me of those shots -_-

I got so scared when he took any kind of shot during the series...

i wanna say Celtics in 5, if we are able to steal 1 in LA either game 1 or game 2 and defend home court, i like our chances, we have to treat game 5 as if it was game 7, because LA will defend it at all cost

Game 1, will be the ideal game to steal

  8. ^ Celts in 5 would be epic! But realistically i would go with Celts in 6....

    Predictions:
    G1: Celtics
    G2: Lakers
    G3: Lakers
    G4: Celtics
    G5: Celtics
    G6: Celtics
    G7: --------

    Game 1 @LA
    Game 2 @LA
    Game 3 @Boston
    Game 4 @Boston
    Game 5 @Boston
    Game 6 @LA
    Game 7 @LA

Just in case people forgot... Finals are in a 2-3-2 format.

I'm going to stick with Celtics in 6. It'll be tough to steal one in LA, but I think Boston has the ability to close it out on the road

dont worry, we still got this, KG didnt really show up tonight even though he got 16 pts, he gave Pau many open shots, Only Pierce and Rondo were present tonight

Allen was in constant foul trouble, Perk did ok, Sheed did good better than KG in my opinion, I think Pau got more points off KG than when BBD and Sheed were on him

  16. i know... which totally sucks cause it felt like the Celtics were not totally into it..... foul troubles, not attacking the basket, missing shots, losing rebounds, turnovers.....

Pau just outworked KG yesterday, KG needs to stop being a bitch and show up on Sunday, come on I dont are if you aged, defend Pau like you did in 08, Sheed is doing a better job

I give credit to Pau, Bynum and Artest for winning the game, Kobe scoring 30 is expected =\

the first game was so pathetic by the Celtics, no rebounds and Pau just owned KG...

not like the refs were any good too.

Im not blaming the refs at all, its not like anything were bullshit calls, i barely see any bs calls, KG played like shit, no argue about that, he didnt box out, most of pau's points came from Offensive rebounds, Sheed did so much better than KG did defensively

Let's not count the Celtics out only just after one game. They have an incredible ability to adjust their defence. The first two games are at the Staple Centre so advantge to the Lakers.
