I've been following this closely. very promising. word is that there will be a data less version. mindset-a mini tablet assistant to your phone.
Will wait until it runs Android 2.2 and I confirm that it can work without data and purely on wifi. I'm not sure why Dell is using an outdated OS.
O2 Link: http://www.o2.co.uk/dellstreak It's their first dive into this market. They'll catch up soon enough. It has wifi-so unless this thing has a carrier side lock blocking-i don't see why it won't work without a data plan.
2.2 will be out soon for Dell.. It all depends on the carrier whether they want to tie you with data or not. But you can always buy it unlocked...

meh.. I thought it would have been for AT&T.. but then.. there's 2 HSDPA for the Streak at this moment.. one for AT&T and one for T-mobile..
Dell wants to make a tablet phone lol this is so funny. ill pass next they will make a mini version of this just like all other phone they will make a mini version so lame....lol
I think it is nice too... but too big to carry carry around. Can't leave it in your back pocket and drive at same time for sure...
