Anyone here have to DL dramas for their computer illiterate parents?

    get like an 'nBox' or something. There's a post about it watching RMVB on tv. I got mine for like $20 on ebay. Works perfectly even though its from ebay! You only need a usb and you're good :D

    If you have an Xbox 360 or PS3 then you can just stream all your videos through that. I'm not sure if RMVB is supported through the 360, but it supports most AVI formats. You can just put your files on a portable hard drive or USB and plug it in.
     
  5. or if you have a laptop.... just plug it into your tv.. with an aux cable.. for the sound.

    i got one of them .... parents dont complain...... but complains when they dunno how to turn the bloody thing on .. :facepalm: .. parents and technology ... siiighh xD ..... and oh you dont get post counts on off topic ... sooooooo xD

    I used to be like you until I got my Patriot box office + external harddrive. Now it's just jdownloader and move all the files over to the HD. Took a day or two for my mom to learn how to use it and she practically uses it everyday.

    Good thing my dad is an engineer.. so i dont have to teach him any technological stuff :)

    Anyways, it's really recommanded to get an nbox. 20-30 used, and 40$ brand new. Saves you a bunch of DVD's if you're going to burn it.
