Uhh, this group sounds creepy. o.o This is soo true If this is HK, they'll shoot probably in these scenario.
I sense troll. The whole protesting thing has gone to the shits. Not like anyone is even listening to them anymore. Everyone is against them and are royally pissed off for what they've done. And people keep complaining about all the money spent on security still. Wtf? I mean come on... Those people just justified all the spending. GJ.
The fault lies entirely with the authorities. Let's face it, over the years these G-summit type meetings have become a regular gauntlet spectacle, with police and security personnel faced off against well meaning people with legitimate complaints mixed in with anarchists whose sole purpose is to riot. The summit needs to be held on an island out in the middle of the ocean, where no common person can get access to. This would save the billions that is needlessly spent to accommodate these events, which generally degenerate into raucous confrontational sideshows anyway. The simplest solution is to change the venue, say... to remote faraway places like Guam, Diego Garcia, or Christmas Island.
i'm pissed at government officials for insisting on bringing the G20 here, and at the fucking non-canadians who took part in this riot.. no, im actually more pissed off at the minority of torontonians who took part in this riot, and the torontonians who support the cause of the protestors.. they should fuck off and we should take their fucking money to pay for the damages, not from our wallets. MY MONEY COULD HAVE BEEN SPENT ON SOME FUCKING STEAM GAMES
^ that youtube video above, dumbass shouldn't have been there in the first place walking like a moron like he didn't see the horses. And yea the building across my work got smashed and the person and his buddies fled in a car with a New York license plate.
what's up with the hippies who are more concerned with Freedom of Expression, instead of their money being wastefully thrown out into the trash? especially torontonian hippies.......
I am so used to these type of stuffs happened at protests. There are always some who caused troubles. Some cheered them on as a way to get the authorities' attention whilst others used it as an opportunity to loot .. In the US, whether it's a protest or a celebration, there are bound to be vandalism happened ... it's so typical.
I doubt you really understand what's going on in the world. The G20 is prominent in many respects but there is obviously corruption behind it all. Still, you have to realize what's going on before you complain.
lol, fuck you too buddy i have the right to complain all i want asswipe now i'm going to complain about you being a douchebag you fucking turd
yeah fuck those black bloc people seriously. That money was supposed to go towards my grad trip sonofabitch.
k really, more than half those fools were not even from toronto. thanks for making TO look like the middle east dumbasses. ok, you had your fun and made toronto look stupid to the rest of the world. thanks. you can leave toronto now and go back to your hill billy countys no ones heard of now.
Please don't think that the world is so innocent and naive that we don't understand what is going on in these summit meetings; some would liken it to gang leaders carving out territory. Protest is legitimate; but when that "protest" evolves into a open brawl that costs innocent people and passerby their lives and property, then I myself would question the value and morals of such a protest. I would direct those protest anarchists who feel that by turning up the damage ratio, the powers that be would be more apt to listen, to follow the example of Thich Quang Duc: Spoiler: The story of Thich Quang Duc... Hòa thượng Thích Quảng Đức (Vietnamese pronunciation: [tʰɪ̌c kwãːŋ ɗɨ̌k], Saigon: [tʰɪ̌t kwɐ̂ːŋ ɗɨ̌k] born Lâm Văn Tức (b. 1897 – d. 11 June 1963) was a Vietnamese Mahayana Buddhist monk who burned himself to death at a busy Saigon road intersection on 11 June 1963. Thích Quảng Đức was protesting against the persecution of Buddhists by South Vietnam's Ngô Đình Diệm administration. Photos of his self-immolation were circulated widely across the world and brought attention to the policies of the Diệm regime. Malcolm Browne won a Pulitzer Prize for his iconic photo of the monk's death, as did David Halberstam for his written account. After his death, his body was re-cremated, but his heart remained intact. This was interpreted as a symbol of compassion and led Buddhists to revere him as a bodhisattva, heightening the impact of his death on the public psyche. Thích Quảng Đức's act increased international pressure on Diệm and led him to announce reforms with the intention of mollifying the Buddhists. However, the promised reforms were implemented either slowly or not at all, leading to a deterioration in the dispute. With protests continuing, the Special Forces loyal to Diệm's brother, Ngô Đình Nhu, launched nationwide raids on Buddhist pagodas, seizing the holy heart and causing deaths and widespread damage. Several Buddhist monks followed Thích Quảng Đức's example and burned themselves to death. Eventually, an Army coup toppled and killed Diệm in November. The self-immolation is widely seen as the turning point of the Vietnamese Buddhist crisis which led to the change in regime... As far as I'm concerned, it is these violence addicted elements that have stolen the voice of the people and have turn a legitimate protest into an annual open riot that cost regular people millions. Summits have literally become annual violence rave parties for these violence addicted guys. The authorities, instead of playing along with their "game" should smarten up and just remove the venue entirely.
I doubt you really understand the source of my complaints. I am pissed off about losing my tax money to vandalism repair thanks to these fuck tards who destroyed half the city. Still, you have to realize what the issue I was complaining about before you open your fucking mouth. dumbass
I'm pretty sure dan knows what he's talking about, I think the question is, do YOU really understand whats going in the world? Anyways, he lives there, he has more right than you or I to be complaining, unless you live there as well. In that case, I would wonder why you aren't upset yourself.
