    anybody sign up and get into the beta thing? it's pretty much cloud gaming.

    you stream the game to your desktop to play and stuff, no installation required.

    you just need at minimum of a 5mbit connection to play.

    lol thats a huge problem for me i pay like 25/month bucks for a 1.5mbit connection so that would cost me like 70 a month? and add the damn online subscription (after first year?) and you have to pay for individual games that you probably won't be able to run if the onlive service goes down. that shit is a fucking rip off. id rather get a damn gaming pc.

    Are you confusing 1.5MB/sec downloads with 1.5mbit? So you download at 150kb/sec at max for 70 dollars a month? WTF?

    fixed. i said it would require me to pay that much just for internet to play onlive

    It isn't a terrible service but yeah, you still have to pay a small fee to use their service and then if you wanted to play the games, you'll have to pay a small fee to get the privilege to play the full game. I was playing some demos of newer games like Assassin's Creed 2 and Splinter Cell Conviction, my bandwidth was spiking up to about 550-670kb/sec while running these games.

    small fee? i heard you had to pay retail to play the full game.
