Lol someone isn't too happy about this.

I still don't see the team beating teams like the Lakers. They have a lot of work to do.

Is there going to be any money left for the other two positions and the bench? I can't see them wining straight away, they are probably going need a new coach. Remember when Shaq and Kobe were together and didn't win until Phil jackson came on board?

    fuck lebron

    in fact, fuck bosh too

Basketball no fun to watch anymore seeing that getting owned (Raptors) by a team probably by at least 20 points in the yearly 4 game matchup.

A lot of people kinda know he was going to Miami that morning...They are saying he's having a party at south beach...

Going to Miami, he's going to be Wades 2nd man...

I hope they don't win shit...

LeBron did make the best choice in that, he'll have the best chance of winning a champion there but he's a punk as coward..lol.

The Heats just became the most hated time in the NBA...

i dont get why all the people hate that new team ?
so if u were lebron, u will rather stay in cleveland, alone and never win a ring ? same for bosh
at least these 3 are surely not doing it for money, they wont be able to get max contract all three
they just want to win, tired of being alone in their team, isnt that the spirit ? at least lebron didnt go to lakers and accept to be paid less than $5M, he would have been sure to win but that would be a ridiculous move
not everyone can be jordan and stay with the same team ! (except the wizard part)

i dont understand why Cleveland is acting this way...

Yes Lebron could've done it better by not announcing it on TV, but they got 7 years to help lebron get a championship, its just bad ownership and GM, and thats what they get for surrounding him with washed up players like Mo and washed up coach like Brown

i have nothing against bosh joining wade in miami. Bosh was stuck in a bad situation anyway in toronto. Been swapping teammates every season, without a consistent roster n not winning a playoff series for 7 years, he had valid reason to leave raptors. However, the situation with lebron is different. his team had had the best record in regular season for the last 2 years (61-21 last year n 66-16 the year be4.) They made it to the east conf final n was semifinal the past 2 years. Cleveland actually went out to take on huge contracts (think mo williams, varejao, moon, jamison) to complement james to push for a title.(raptors did none of that). Lebron is basically, leaving a winning team to go to miami to team up with wade n bosh. Granted, if they clicks, its gonna be a great, but that alone is not enuf to guarantee a ring.

Furthermore, we have to look at what stage of his career he is on now. (This, i am just giving my take on charles barkley's argument which i agree with) Lebron is in the stage of his career, where he should be carrying his team to a championship. If he is worth his salt, He should be the dominant force, the man in his team, the face of a franchise. By joining miami heat, he is essentially, joining wade's team, thus, deferring to wade n bosh. Look at boston, garnett allen joins, still pierce's team. pierce still face of the celtic franchise.

While it is not uncommon for players to join forces to win a championship, it rarely happens when they are still in their prime. Its only when they are past it n desperate for a ring will they sacrifice their ego/money/playing time/numbers of touches, shots per game. Case in point allen, garnett to boston. Malone payton to lakers, payton to heat, finley to spurs, horry to spurs. Lebron is still onie 26-27 ?? (4got), entering his prime. Surely, he still had time on his side to win a championship on his own and better yet in his hometown. No one in cleveland will blame him if he had left at 32, n cleveland had still not managed to win a title. Hey, Jordan joined the bulls in 1984, he never left the bulls even when hey cant get out of the east conf be4 1991. Whilst it might be unfair to compare lebron with arguable the best player in the history of NBA, its no denying the fact that lebron sure likes to act like a modern day jordan, dedicating an hour special on national tv to announce his decision to leave his hometown team. Now, cleveland is left with a bitter taste in their mouth, n with a roster bloated with huge contract which most probably they will not be able to move and will have to look at the prospect of rebuilding for the next 10 years.

This just confirms even more my thoughts for the last few years, that lebron is an exceptionally gifted athlete n certainly the most athletic basketball player in today's NBA. But he loves the hype people generates around him too much. And with that, his legacy will forever be scarred even if he does win a ring in miami.

Even if he does win something, hey, the credibility of it will be lower. Cue the most popular retort MJ n kobe haters like to use "Kobe would not had won anything without Shaq". "Jordan never won a ring without Pippen as his sidekick"

Last word, "PA - Entertainment Destination - View Profile: burpyierz@@AMEPARAM@@View Profile: burpyierz</title>@@AMEPARAM@@burpyierz" u're crazy if u think lebron going to miami had nothing to do with money. Money Talks in this world. If lebron had really gone to miami just to win n not for the money, hey, lets take the minimum pay. That way, there will be more money to spent to fill out the roster with great complementary players. Hey, u gave the even better way out. Lets sign for the minumum with lakers. That way, its 99.999999% sure that he will get a ring. n better yet when kobe is past it, he can call the lakers his team. And to the other dude, mo williams is in 28, 2 years older tha lebron. Define "washed up". just my 2 cent. (long one sorry)

  16. im surprise by this i really thought LBJ would stay....too bad cleveland lol

This is not the same league barkley and Jordon played in. There isn't that dedication and need to be the main guy anymore. Think about it. Kobe demanded to be traded and even badmouthed Bynum during his first year. I'm pretty sure if Kobe was a free agent back then he would have left for sure.

And honestly if he did care about winning he should leave Clevelend. The team is junk and failed to add a effective supportive cast around him for 7 years. Remember the team that got swept by the Spurs in the finals? That team was complete garbage. Lebron literally, and I mean LITERALLY carried that team with no one else to help. Even if they made it to the finals this year there is no doubt in my mind that the Lakers would have beaten them in 5-6 games.

I agree that winning a championship in Miami would be worth less than winning one in Clevelend. But you can't say his choice was not made with the intention of winning the championship. People are saying "Oh if he REALLY wanted to win then he would have stayed in Celvelend or go to Chicago" Don't even give me that bullshit. Where else would you go if you wanted to win? And you're being unreasonable with the money argument. You can't expect 3 all stars to take close to minimum contracts... EVER. Even the ones that really want to win. NBA is always about money. I hate when people say crap about how they should have taken less money if they wanted to win. Bullshit. Everyone would have done the same thing if they were an NBA player. And everyone is too butt-hurt from Lebron's decision. It was his right to choose to go to Miami. People like Dan Gilbert have no right to lash out like they have. Everyone has to remember that this is still a business.

    Lebron James...
    He needs

    1. A new manager that doesn't think of stupid ideas like "The Decision"
    2. A new publicist that tells him directly that his manager is stupid
    3. To let go of his ego
    4. To apologize to Cleveland fans

    Chris Bosh
    He needs

    1. To return 20-30 million back to Miami because seriously he ain't worth more than D.Wade and definitely not equal to Lebron (WTF?)
    2. To keep it real

    Dwayne Wade
    He needs

    1. Nothing...I like him a lot -surr

Even if Lebron win a championship in miami it will never be the same cause he did it with so much help. Kobe won with no top players. Even MJ got Pipen, Lebron is no leader, he is all stats n nothing else. He's just like an A-Rod of baseball.
