FireFox 4 Beta Available for Download

Using it now and so far I love it.

Yeah...it looks a lot like Chrome. Not that it's a bad thing though

 

heard firefox 4 is suppose to be real good....

 

using it for like a week now

still got lots of bugs to fix. sometimes hotmail doesnt show properly and freezes randomly when i try to maximize

 

but all my plugins i used for FF3.5 didn't work for 3.6 or above and with 4, i doubt they would work either...like even now, all the chinese characters in my FF header are showing up as ???

 

I think Google Chrome is fine. I switched from FF and don't regret it. Is FF4 supposed to be faster?

 

I'll wait till it's officially released. I have a lot of addons running with the current version of Firefox that will not work with this beta version. it does look a lot like chrome and i am already using that

 

there are news that FF4 has an optimized memory management, which means it doesn't pile up garbage in your ram as it remains idle like FF3. A better Javascript engine apparently. That's why FF4 seems faster.

Add-ons from FF3 will obviously not work until the add-on maker creates compatibility for FF4, due to it being a fairly different browser altogether. it's like iphone and android apps needing to be updated after an iphone or android update.

 

Yeah, its horrible when its used on Vista.

 

is it me or Firefox 4 seems to load a little faster ?
