hi can anyone tell me a way to burn more then 5 videos into a dvd. because i have this series that has 102 episodes and my mom wants me to record it on a dvd for my grandma to watch. and it can't be in like data format. because she has a cheap dvd player that can only play dvd files. thank you
You can cram as many as you like lol. The quality of the video will just be degraded as you have more and more files, up to a point.
not really, like winavi, it will only separate the converted files to a 2nd dvd... if a series has that many eps, i would assume they are 20 mins each, therefore u should be able to fit 10 eps per SL dvd and 20 eps on DL dvd but jelly is correct, the more things u put on it, the video quality degrades
i used convertxtodvd. i do 3 movies, 4 the most. if it series i do fit 10 episodes of 40 minutes. 20 minutes i put in 20 episodes.
i would say buy a media tank that works very good and an extern Hard Disk i think you wil give out 150 euro's and you have the same result witout any degraded video's... AC Rian mini media tank 80 euro's and extern mini hd 500GB about 60 euro's i would take lacie good brand... and u use less time in burning dvd and you can reupload anything you like on those HD much more efficient if you ask me.... and u don't always have to change dvd you can continue play every thing.... there are much more + side about those media tanks... any more question just PM me or i would say search on internet
are you not watching on a hdtv 50" or over cuz then u can really see is VCD quality if you compress so much onto a SL dvd... trying to cheap out i guess... if OP is trying to cheap out, i doubt he/she will take your suggestion... lacie is only good because is the casing that eats ur money, get a cheap case for $30;
erm... i would suggest putting 10 episodes (20 minutes) onto dvd or 5 episodes (40 minutes) using winavi and the quality there would be pretty good. shouldn't be degraded. but if u want to fit more i guess u can. u can select dual layer dvd on winavi setting and then convert about 20 episodes (20 minutes) or about 10 episodes (40 minutes) and then use dvdshrink to shrink the file size down. in my experience dvdshrink is very good as it takes area which use the same colour and shrinks the size down so the video quality doesn't take much of a hit. having said that u may find that u may struggle to bring the dual layer size down to single layer so it may be better to specify the size on winavi to fitting 20 episodes onto 7.5- 8gb rather than the full dual layer. just need to play around rele and experiment. this would degrade the video a little further but should be pretty good and still a lot better than vcd.
You can use Win AVI, Convert X, Dvd santa to convert your movies. Use Dvd shrink to create or compress to 4.7GB dvd iso then burn.
i download the drama shows here, and i put about 5-10 epsiodes per dvd, with fine quality on a 32" lcd for my aunts and parents to watch before i finally convinced them to get a ASUS O!Play. I used Convertxtodvd, by far the best video to dvd converter i used and only it. just set the video to half size. Don't choose full size as it comes out pixelated and boxy weird looking. takes about 1-3 hr the conversion if you have about 10 episodes. considering your computer specs. Might i suggest you getting a WD Mini media player only about $40US. and a 8gb usb for about 10$
