Jeremy Lin - Another Asian (ABC) in the NBA

Read this a week back - pretty exciting especially considering the Warriors fans usually don't have much to cheer about.

hes getting more playing time than sun yue with the lakers in 08/09 season for sure....ivy league graduate from harvard too..this guy is smart..same age as me so ill prob root for this guy

He is not good enough to make it to the NBA. His contract is one year $500k, no guarentee. Dallas cut him in the summer league. Warriors signed him because he is a cheap labor (NBA standard). And, he is local (Palo Alto) and Chinese (Taiwanese to be exact). That marketing for the Asian Chinese fans in the Bay Area, nothing more. I bet you he has no play time but garbage time only. Stephen Curry is the man. Even Monte Ellis has to step aside. You think Lin has a chance. The veterans would injury Lin, and Lin will be side line for the entire seasons, mark my words.

 

Dallas and multiple teams offered him contracts. He's not suppose to be start material even for the warriors but he's good enough to play.

 

saw some highlights of this dude schooling john wall, glad to see him sign with the warriors. now i might be motivated to go to a game or two this season.

 

didn't this guy out play john wall during summer league?

 

I think we will do well in the NBA if he has a chance.

Mark my words that he will not be sidelined for the season. He took a hit and still came back playing with a bloody nose. The boy is a true player, not like the NBA players that whine all the time. I hope he gets minutes and dethrone Monta.
