My brother's cheap guitar (Squire Fender) died so I'm doing a full Fender Stratocaster build.

    The parts:
    - Fender Pickguard
    - Fender Knobs
    - Fender Vintage Noiseless Pick-ups
    - Fender Super 5-Way Switch

    Thanks!

Oops, I probably should explain what a Stratocaster is. A Stratocaster is a specific electric guitar made by Fender. What I'm doing is replacing all the guts from the old knock off guitar with better authentic parts.

  4. thats pretty coo.. how'd you go about starting this lil project?

    Thanks.

I'm a huge Eric Clapton fan. This guitar is my attempt at mimicking the special edition Eric Clapton Stratocaster.

  6. yo what about your other projects lol how's the monster custom case going lol

It's on hold, have lots of parts to buy. Waiting to see what I can pick up on Black Friday.

Thanks! I'm just starting to learn how to play as well. :D

    Update time!

Output jack finally came in. One small problem, it didn't come with a 2nd nut so it didn't fit quite right.

    Much better!

It's all soldered up! Had to move the 3 ground wires for the pick-ups to the top side of the potentiometer, it was bumping into the body of the guitar when I tried to test fit it.

Here she is. There's a small humming issue, I think it's probably because of a bad solder joint. Gonna try and take care of it tomorrow and hopefully post up some clips of it.
