Is Intel better than AMD?

Hi can anyone tell me that which processor is better between Intel and AMD?

gamers like amd cuz is cheaper? intel can withstand far better heat than amd
intel will embed antivirus within the processor with the purchase of mcafee
amd would have to do similar to match with symantec?
intel is currently ahead of the GHz game and way more cache

 

Intel has the better CPUs. They edge out AMD in specs and speed tests.

 

AMD has been edged out by Intel in the past year or so in terms of performance.

My PC rigs are for gaming and web browsing. Either one is fine. Intel if you run heavy applications that utilize a lot of that beefy stuff Intel got.
