Hello, I found all the torrents Cantonese episodes available for download here. They also have files for English subtitles but no matter what I do, I cannot get them to display in VLC. If anybody has any advice on how to have English subtitles appear when viewing these MKV files I would appreciate the tip.

FYI they are traditional Chinese subs. And due some flaw it only works on KMPlayer (says the OR)~ yu

To run subtitles in VLC, go to settings->preferences->video->subtitles/osd. Then browse to the subtitle file.

 

Thanks. Yeah i found the subtitle files and torrent on TVBOXNOW but no matter what I do I can't seem to get them to display in any langauge in VLC. What I am ideally looking for is Cantonese Dub with English subtitles which so far doesn't seem to exist yet (please somebody out there prove me wrong!)

I read the reviews for this series on Yesasia and I have to say that alot of the recent DVD releases don't make buying the DVDs worth while. I kinda have got use to the idea that the English subtitles that are commercially released are not as good as fan subs, but the fact that there are commercials along with the episodes make it too much of a poor viewing experience.

The OR (Official Ripper) says due some flaw the Trad.Chin.subs only works with KM Player~ yu
