A copy of the 2011 Hyundai Elantra Touring Workshop Service Manual CD ? I looked on ebay, and found a 2009 and 2010 version, but not one yet for 2011. Even though the press stated that there was little changed between the 2010 through 2011 model years, I'm still hesitant to rely on an older version, especially with thing like wiring and electronics. The regular owner's manual that comes with the car is a joke.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. -sweat

Normally, I would recommend the Bently Service Manuals because they are fantastic but they have nothing on Hyundai. I'll keep a look out for you, I'm guessing the manuals haven't been published yet since it's a new model. Are there significant changes between the 2010 and 2011 models?

That's the thing; supposedly, there is little that was changed between the 2010 to 2011 model year. However, what can be considered cosmetically identical may be technically worlds apart. I emailed the seller on eBay, and he "assures" me that the 2010 is nearly identical to the 2011. Not sure what is meant by "nearly" but I went ahead and ordered it ($30 with shipping).

Still, if you do happen to come up with something else later, I'm all ears. Getting a variety of sources for me is the key to ensuring I get correct info. And a big thanks for the response. ;)

Yeah, I had previously already spoken to the dealer about the degree of differences between the 2010 to 2011 models, and he basically said so far as he knew, there were none. Now, I don't know if he meant that there were no cosmetic user apparent differences, or is that to mean that everything under the hood is exactly the same as the 2010.

Frankly, most of the questions pertaining to the actual mechanics and electronics that I had, had to be answered by their mechanic. The sales guy was courteous and polite, but didn't know much else aside from the standard shill stuff. Also, another thing about any DIY projects, is that they tend to void dealer warranties. So I'm certainly leery about letting them know that I'm going to be rooting around under the hood. The less they know about what I know may be ultimately in my best interest, so to speak. :Talktohand:
