Android 2.2 - When is it out?

lol by the time u guys get the froyo update. gingerbread 3.0 would be out already. heard it was going to be release around october around now or mayb somewhere in the following months of whats left in the 4 quarter

go htc phones xP faster updates

 

I cant 'go' for htc phones because i have thd galaxy s already. I have wait for tuesday night to upgrade the firmware

 

so when exactly this 2.2 come out and where will i need to update? im confussed with all these types of way to do this update is it just direct on your phone or with the kies software?

Kies software. Connect it and click on firmware update. I need to wait to go home to find my cable lol

 

i did it says nothing im uptodate but its still 2,1?

 

Dunno then because i searched around and it hasnt really said when it is out for uk specifically. All i know they jave postponed it from end of september to this month but didnt claeify the exact date so i would wait another week or so and check then. If its poatponed again i will QQ big time

 

most updates should be ota over the air. and if u don't have a data plan just go somewhere with free wifi and do an update. and if u guys want better place to ask for the updates and find news on ur device u should google xda-developers they have a range of all kind of devices

 

hi there yeah i know that but the main thing im asking is when is the update....

but to be honest i dnt think its that much diffrents as i have the HTC Desire HD and using it for a few days feels the same.....

 

well.. for motorola Milestone should be out end of this year I hope. I heard galaxy S one should be end of this month for europe, Im not sure about america =S

 

My Nexus One already have 2.2.. i think this is the best phone from htc..

 

So any news when the 2.2 out its Nov. so anyone know when or where to get (UK)

 

My G2 came with Froyo. I had to flash to get it on my G1.

 

Got Froyo running on my HTC HD2.

 

still don't know if there's one for Galaxy S
