It’ll be interesting to see Liverpool in the January transfer window, will they buy or will they sell?

i dun think Aquilani had the steel to play in the EPL... Losing Alonso was the biggest blow to Liverpool =/

I still stand by my belief that Kuyt should play as a sweeper =D

And Babel's really not that great a winger =/

I really really hope Arsenal is going to win this time...
after years of no prices..this has to be it!
now they quite ok, now just need to keep up on chelsea and hope they lose some points...

Maybe as a defensive midfielder where he can battle and hold the ball then creating play but as a sweeper lol...might aswel say goal keeper!

Aquilani didnt get enough starting matches and games for him to gain the premiership feel and confidence, when fully match fit he can be quite a good player and could've been Alonso's replacement.

y not? a sweeper is a defensive holding midfielder... only instead of in front of the line, he plays in back... playing in back would allow him to start the counter attack much quicker...

Kuyt is not the best of tackler and is likely to commit fouls.

He's not naturally a defensive player and as a sweeper you need that defensive mind to command the back line by controlling their and his positioning, something like what Carragher does.

I just dont see him reacting to counter attacks when at back pinning a ball or drilling a pass to start a counter. He just doesnt have the ability and attributes which is why I say just in front of the back 4 fighting for 50/50 situations like what Mascherano did when he was at Liverpool, another massive loss.

If your talking about countering Jose Reina has a better distribution than Kuyt, he can start that counter so you dont really need him there.

still fink kuyt is a good player, he wrks hard n scores important goals in champions league, he jus needs to
score more in PL!!!! I ave 2 admit losin alonso was the biggest flop still cnt believe rafa wanted barry ova

If Tottenham can perform like they have done in Champions League they can win the title, especially in both the games against Inter Milan holders of the cup, but Spurs are really inconsistent and unpredictable.

Another quality striker and midfielder with experience in the January transfer window we could defiantly become a frightening team and win the title.

Gareth Bale is potentially world class and will play a major role in achieving the title.

As a neutral it wasn’t a good game to watch though it’s good to see Torres showing the player he really is.

Very disappointing for Tottenham to lose again after the mid week champ league match.

Spurs Rafael van der Vaart wins Barclays Prem League Player of the Month for October, scoring 3 goals and making 1 assist maintaining his record of scoring in every home match he’s played in the league so far!

Everton David Moyes picks up Manager of the Month award, with 3 wins and a draw.
