which is why i sort of regret my i7 now... lol not that my i7 is anywhere near as close as the specs you mentioned

I wanted to future proof as much as possible... I dont really need an i7 but I do think I am going to o/c this slightly and xfire like in a years time when prices come down some time.
You got a i5-760, which uses the LGA 1156 socket. Those MB have less PCI bandwidth or w/e. Which, i think, means that when you SLI/Crossfire it'll be 8 by 8 or something. Which isn't as good. But I think it'll be fine. Also, if you are overclocking then you can just get the 750 since its identical, except for the stock speed.
For the price quote you are racking up the core i7 would be a much better suit especially if you are thinking about buying that type of video card and also if you plan to xfire it.
Whats a better MB that you would recommend then? I do want to keep it at around this price range. I'm not really that techy and into these things And I cant seem to find the 750 here anymore Thanks guys. I dont know if the i7 is really needed for me.. Its about 100 bucks more than the i5.. and I hear gamging performance is very similiar to the i5. I dont really plan on using my computer to do any grpahics design or anything that is really CPU intensive; also its a power hungry monster.. wouldnt i need a bigger power supply if i were to run that + xfire?
Its a chipset thing lol. That's a drawback of getting LGA 1156, but I doubt you'll be able to notice the difference.
Yea its enough for xfire.. but now Im just thinking I dont really need to xfire lol... I might go with an i7 build instead, but still get a sli/xfire mobo just in case.. in the future I do want to upgrade. I don't plan on raiding HDD's - Is that just like combinging the 2 1 TB HDD's together? Im also thinking of when SDD come down to about.. 100 bucks for 60 GB, ill get one and install OS and main programs on it. EDIT: What about this i7 build?
