after spending a year with my gear, noticed the kit lens is pretty much useless... but buying a kit is cheaper than buying the body only =(
NOT all pics with boarders make them nice, only some... and only online viewing looks good, u will unlikely to see photos printed with frames
It IS expensive! I just got myself another new lens! The Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II Wide Angle Lens...and I'm loving it!
I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I've been contemplating the idea of trading in my 24-105 f/4 L for a 24-70 f/2 L. What do you guys think?
depends on what lens u have in your system; but 24-70 is better since it has lower f-stop and is great for anything
I agree with noasian. I am thinking about the same lens aswell. At the moment I am using Primes only 35mm f/2, 50mm f/1.4, 85mm f/1.8), but thinking about something I can use if I don't want to carry all my primes with me. the 24-70 f/2.8 is a good solution. It gives me enough Wide angle on my FF cam and a slightly zoom. My 5D cries for some new lenses ^^ @eggrollboy: What body do u got? The photos look amazing.
Well yeah, but to edit a photo to that level you need to have a solid base photo ^^ I am asking because the 16-35 on most cams has a little soft focus...
Thanks. Well currently, the 24-105 L is the only good lens I have at the moment. So I'm pretty much at the point where I'm just starting to build my setup. I just got back from the LA Auto Show and was stunned I could shoot at 1/5 and still get razor sharp shots with the 24-105. Decisions, decisions.
I'm new here so be gentle . I put all my pics here. www.flickr.com/photos/justin_li I shoot w/: - Rebel XTi - 17-85mm f/4-5.6 - 28mm f/1.8 - 50mm f/1.4 Here are some of my pics
there some good stuff here, will upload some of mine soon! waiting for my sigma 10-20mm wideangle ^^ cant wait !
I'm using the Canon EOS 5D MKII. I love the high ISO capabilities! The top one is definitely done on purpose. I wanted that cross processed look.
