^ the parents wont do shit off topic: my mom works as a teacher, with kids who are like 5. she was talking to some parents about disciplining their child, and the parents said: "it's not our job to discipline the child, it's the school's job". that in combination with the fact that school teachers are hesitating to discipline the kids like the old days, due to the fear of being fired and sued, shows that the future of our world is fucked, when no institution is willing to discipline the child. but yea, when the parents say that it's not their responsibility to school their own child, you know we're all going to hell
It could be the school as the parents said because of bad influences of the kids there. Not the kids fault? It's the teachers (school) cos they are responsible to get them follow the rules.
Not disciplining your child is like not caring about your child. That's why our society is kinda fucked up.
I agree that the teachers have the responsibility of disciplining a child and teaching them how to behave properly, but it still all begins with the parents. I had the privilege of having some great teachers at a very young age. I strongly believe that they helped mold me into the person I am today, but they only helped. My parents disciplined me as a child and taught me right from wrong. Because of my parents I was much more easily influenced by the further guidance provided at school by the teachers. Sure teachers do have the responsibility of disciplining and teaching proper behavior to their students, but not much can be done when you are given a child so damaged from the improper care of their parents. @Tony's original topic I vote that you tell her not to keep the baby, whether that means abortion or adoption is up to her. She's not ready to raise a child, and hardly ready to raise one alone. Although I would prefer adoption, it's her choice. Most 17 year old girls are just starting off life as Ralph said and this could be really damaging to them.
Aiiiyyyyaaaaaaaaa i think everyone is toooo wrapped over the under age thing .... UK girls have like highest percentage underage pregnency .. so its not like its a really despicable thing to occur but i do advise help from maybe counsellors to see what to do next? (Cool Story Bro)
abortion will risk for further pregnancy again... and it is illegal without any problem of the pregnant
wow that is pretty bad, i though i was in your shoes couple of times too. I thought my ex girl friend was pregnant and thought about aborting the baby bc she and i are still in school but i also dont want to lose that life that was created between me and her. It really is not all about what you decided, to have or not have the baby is between you and her.
I am but I don't raw dog girls who aren't under the pill at the very least. She's gonna abort that shit. She doesn't have visible bump yet so she doesn't want to let her parents find out. GG. I still don't know who the guy is either and she won't say.
