Considering to buy Games Console : XBOX Kinect looks good.....I think it can beat Wii... Anyone tried PS Move yet? ... Any comment?? Thnks...
just wait for a wii 2 kinect is just the old ps2 eyetoy ps move is just like wii nothing new ..... after a few hours of play u will regret buying those
Dont get kinect, that thing is dangerous. Basically it records sound and video at all times, if its connected to the xbox then its recording you and sending it to M$ and posting stuff on forums regardless of whether your playing games or not. Also in the TOC M$ says they will send stuff to the police if they catch you doing anything illegal so you gota watch what you do and say in your own house when a kinect is about. Also the TOC says its illegal to try and bypass this stuff, your only option is to plug it out after using it which can get boring after a while. for these reasons i aint getting one, also make sure your clothed in front of your xbox, having no cloths on is not an option unless you want it all over the internet the next day.
Don't get any of the three just for motion control.. Look towards what games interest you. Wii is outdated.. so that's a no go, unless you're hardcore Mario and Donkey Kong fan. Motion control wise, the PS3 is more accurate. Xbox Kinect is more geared towards parties, stuff like Dance Central is fun when two people dance battle while others laugh with enjoyment. But aside from that, nothing else is good. So no good Kinect games out as of yet. And if you want it for gaming, feel free to get it, keep it mind the online service is going to cost you $60 a year. PS3 Move can't say is like the Wii, because it tracks all your motions so you're not just flicking the controller, you literally have to move your body which could get a bit tiring but makes for a good workout. PS3 Move have Sports Champion which is pretty fun. If you like volleyball it tracks all the movements as if you were actually playing. There's a sword fighting game on there which is fun aswell. Keep in mind that you will need 2 Move controllers in order to get full enjoyment out of those two games. There's also light gun games, Time Crisis and The Shoot. Resident Evil and Heavy Rain with Move Support. PS3 game library wise is just same as Xbox except for a few exclusives that are AAA such as Grand Turismo 5, Infamous, Metal Gear Solid 5, God of War 3. Also, no online fees to play online. Xbox360 exclusives are Halo series, Alan Wake, Fable series, and Gears of War series. So a break down: Wii = old outdated now. Few nintendo classics are fun to play, but not necessarily taking full advantage of the motion controls. The new Donkey Kong Returns, Kirby Epic Yarn, Super Mario are good if you like the old school nintendo icons. PS3 = Is Wii HD and a bit more because the tracking is more accurately allowing you to fully your body while playing sports games. Has great selection of games and no online membership fee. Great media player. Even has an awesome photo viewer. Xbox360 = Kinect is fun for parties. However it doesn't do that good of a job tracking all your movements, or at least most Kinect games are not utilizing it properly. Also, you need enough space to play it. Game selection is same as PS3 with few exclusives. Has a membership fee to play online. And pricing you can research on your own.
Well...I googled once I read your comment. It is true, M$ is recording you....Well..that really turns me off....as well as turn other ppl off for them to see me dancing naked....Thnksss...that really helps...
Actually PS3 is at the top of my list.... But abit confused with XBOX kinect launched....But I think I have my mind set... PS3...ha ha... Thnks for the detailed explanation...
I only played PSMove and Wii, Move wasn't all of a hype, wii is fun. Now if I play Kinect I can share my thoughts. Move has EXTREMELY GOOD sensory tracker, it can literally compete well with Wii motion plus!
^ it already has ...... the amount of games that coming out and going to feature with it totally kicks ass for the hardcore gamers ............e.g killzone 3 etc ....... as much as i love kinect ..... it will die in couple of decades ....... so will all motion controllers
Rofl, naa man, if that happened to me i would be famous now...... I found this out from that article i posted about the kinect a couple weeks back, that geeza was dancing naked infront of his kinect only to find the pics on the net the next day. and i really dont like this big brother crap with M$ saying they are going to send any incriminating stuff to the police.
^ or say anything incriminating, dont forget they record your voice too. Plus plenty times i play computer just in my boxer shorts... i dont want that on the internet either lol
that guy shuda advertised like take the opportunity to do so when he gained adverse publicity. if he had a website, he cud write it on his body lol
Wii is a motion sensing controller and from what I've experienced isn't all that responsive but to be fair I haven't bothered forking out for motion plus. It's also not in HD you know, most games look like they could've been on PS2. Most games seem to have half-baked motion controls shoe-horned as well. Kinect is a motion sensing camera device, like Eye toy as mentioned earlier. And they record you, no way! really? PS Move is mixture of both. One of the cool things is it can tracking movement in 3D-space and I promise you it is very responsive. But the games that are available... not much decent out there at the moment.
