So there have been a question that have been bothering me for a while. Q: is an chicken egg consider a chicken? My A: I think it is considered a chicken because: 1) In some parts of china they eat chicken eggs that have undeveloped chicks inside of them, So no matter what stage the fertilized chicken egg, it is an chicken. Whether or not it have a head or not. 2) I understand that there is a reason why chicken is call chicken and eggs are called eggs, but they categorize the eggs as Chicken eggs, ducks eggs, snakes eggs, and even dinosaur eggs. So chicken egg is a part of the chicken as well like chicken liver, chicken heart and chicken feet. 3) Chicken eggs have chicken DNA, it is different from other species eggs. safe to assume that i can say i am eating chicken when all i am eating is an egg. Feel free to express what you think you are eating -smart
An egg is an egg which is not yet fully developed. The stage of evolution is not yet classified as a chicken. The egg with stamps on it have been 'scanned' with a certain light or something that eliminates the evolutionary stage, therefore no matter how long you leave it in your fridge or under your lamp, it will NEVER hatch, hence it is not a living animal. A chicken/chick is a living being, it has it's animal rights (?). It is meat. Though, am not sure if an egg is a meat but I would say no since it does not contain a heart (only egg white+yolk) xD
They both taste good though, win win? And by that logic, abortion should put you in prison for murder?
It depends cos ppl think differently. People say, if there was no chicken, there shall be no egg. If there is no egg, there is no chicken.
how did a question regarding whether or not an egg is considered a chicken or not, turn into a "which one came first, the chicken or the egg" question lol
the 'which came first' question is so lame, only works on young children, works best when combined with "stinky feet makes the sea salty"
Dinosaur came first....Seriously... Some modern birds are decendant from Prehistoric dinosaur. Somehow, evolution , natural selection, and as well as nature created Bird. Bird and chicken,I think, not 100% sure, they are in a same root.
No idea, this is how PA threads go, it somehow goes off topic That's fun! Lol. mmm, depends on how you make the chicken and the egg, bleh. All taste similar (chicken egg only).
