I guess I just got a sense of nostalgia or something.. but I really miss the semi-old games..like how they were back then. Like Counterstrike.. which is now dead, cal is no longer existant, and it's just poopy now. Starcraft..back when you can make illies and (personally to me) the community was a lot better. more gaming, more clans, and i made cutecutecute floods/loads lmao. Diablo 2..when the economy wasn't dead and you could make hundreds from selling items and names to other players. when dueling was actually good without so many mods. I guess it's just personally to me, since I'm not much of a WoW gamer (tried it till level 72 then got bored and quit) or maplestory, i like more PVP and head-on action, FPS games. Dota's alright. lol
Counter strike is not dead! lol Starcraft is not dead too Diablo 3 is coming out soon? old games are like genesis =) NBA JAM! NINTENDO duck hunt and mario, raiden =) those were the shit
i think counterstrike/starcraft is SOO dead! LOL or definitely not what it used to be.. i guess that's the proper way of saying it? like they used to be a LOTTTTTTTTTTTTTT bigger lol Didn't get SC2 yet sadly. CAN"T WAIT FOR D3 though haha i'm definitely lining up for that =] lmao well i meant semi-old not old old , since its not like im old anyways. haha omg sega genesis, what a classic the days where we had to blow into the game to make it work LOL.
LOL blowing the games on nintendo and gameboy...im sure some guys on PA are good at blowing hahahhahahah wow you're a gamer chick..now your gonna get PM's asking for game id hahahahahaa but ya i still kinda play cs 1.6 on steam and i lost sc bw otherwise ill play some used map settings
man's trying to hide his deepest desires by falsely blaming on others........... corrected lol but yea @ OP: i agree, old games have some sort of nice charm... simple, content isn't drowned by graphics the only games that really catches my attention these days are PvP games. other games have either no content, because of putting too much effort in graphics instead of content, or overall repetitive
theres still counter strike source ... i still sorta play that ... and games thats like on ps1 and stuff .. their comming back on the psnetwork ... ps1 classics .. just a matter of time before all ps1 games get s on it .. and i still have my gamboy games game boy sp ftw !!! but shame i lost my charger :(
CSS is still active if you want to hear white racist kids talking about smoking weed or how drunk they are..
@Ecko : Yeah that's the problem as well.. I guess I'm not ONLY talking about the actual game itself, but also the games' community which has turned to complete shit these past years. And call me crazy but I like 1.6 better than source lol. It's just annoying that I couldn't even freakin ring for a team without getting harassed or something.
Hahaha, Starcraft and Counterstrike is very much alive actually! My brother still plays CS everyday and there's always guys on vent and shit. Sometimes they're yelling at the top of their lungs or are being totally gay though, lol. With the release of SC2, game's big as ever. Tutorials, commentaries and shit on utube. I believe diablo 3's coming out in like late 2011 though.. hasn't been official but i doubt it's anytime soon. I kinda miss how games used to be played. you gather up all your friends and yall just play some smash or something. kinda rare nowadays.. majority of the people just play games by themselves behind their tv and pcs.
The new CSS wrecked the old one. Adding achievement into the game is not what the game needs :/ and SC1 is still alive it has simply migrated to s.korea
yes i know, i follow SC1 progaming. but some/most s. korean teams have migrated to SC2. it wont be long until they all do.
micro? if you want more micro oriented, watch SC2. SC2 was designed to automate macromanagement and unit production. SC1 never had automated macromanagement, and thus by extension, micro. watch SC2 if you want more micro oriented.
personally can't stand watchin' sc1 games w/ sc2 out lol. game looks so dull. never really played sc1 one though, so maybe that's why. ;P ohhh hahha. :laugh2:
