It shall be done. I'm reading through the forums and it seems like it's still under development. He has it working but the data isn't working, no wifi, and it's running kinda sluggish.

They've been working on this port for ages. It's not refined yet though.

You guys should try swype I think its better then the normal keyboard. I can type so much faster with 1 finger now and also the new one supports voice to text.

Also a good app for the android is V Player. It can play rmvb avi and etc without converting so all you have to do is drag and drop and you are out the door already.

I need Gingerbread on my Vibrant.

  13. Kontra, Are you using NAND or RAM for the android build on your HD2?

I have been using RAM builds.... and I have been liking it so far. Gingerbread is making a lot of head way as well

I'm still on the old school SD builds. Haven't had time to try out the NAND stuff yet.

There are no disadavantages in rooting your phone just be sure to backup your phone settings data etc including SDcard.

I rooted my wildfire to 2.2 froyo and overclocked it to 600Mhz (max 768Mhz, but that would kill the processor life) and sense interface intact plus the mod tweaks like app2sd will save loadsa space on the phones resource.

I suggest you join the xda developers forum for all the file you need.
