monta ellis is not that bad..... i mean he still got more experience than curry and it is important for curry to learn it from someone.... watch collison/thorton what they are in front of CP3

monta ellis is poison to the warriors. the guy is not a play maker. he demands far too many shot attempts every game. Steph Curry should NOT be learning anything from him. that kid got a bright future if he keeps his game up he'll be one of the best

In the post season Rondo has been the best point guard. He is leading a team of veterans into the finals.

I was a Rondo hater back when the C's won the championship, but he has improved big time. Too bad he still can't shoot for his life.

But for now I can't deny Nash as the best point guard in the NBA. Sure defense is a problem. But I can't get over the fact that he is shooting career high percentages and getting insane averages at 36 years of age. It's insane...

D-Will slightly over CP3 cuz Dwill is a better shooter and can knock down 3s

The team is exactly the same as last years, but with a healthy Chris Paul. The record speaks for itself.

i have to stay, the most powerful and scorer PG is Derrick Rose, just like Tony Parker used to be the best attacker PG but now its over for him
but PG as playmaker i think its Steve Nash, he does the pick and roll so well althought Rondo has the most assists per game but that is because he plays with Pierce, Allen and Garnett and all three can score when he pass the ball to them

I gotta go with Rajon Rondo for the best point guards.

Boston would not be in the top of eastern standing without Rajon Rondo.

in 2011, i think chris paul is the better point guard,
but aside from the hype. tony parker is a pretty damn good point guard.. he has recovered and played extremely well.

nash is good but if you watch him play, he does not do enough to facilitate. a point guard can score and put stats up, but if his team is not winning, then his approach needs to change. this is nash's challenge.

but w/ parker, the spurs have a set group amount of guys w/ chemistry. he has put up great stats, and the spurs are looking really well.

the gossip and media will sell you rondo, cp3, dwill, rose, etc. though they are good, it doesn't mean they are the better point guards. you have to really watch the NBA to come to a conclusion.

As of now, TPARKER x CP3 are the only ones I see as this year's best point guard. That is not to say I am discrediting other players, but to really pick a 'good' point guard, one must watch the games and compare.

rondo is not a good pg, he can't shoot for shiet. nash is a very good pg, but i woudln't say he's the best right now. right now its tony parker and its evident w/ their teams' success. his name goes unnotice due to media, but real bball guys know he's a true PG. the same w/ chris paul.

u can't say the same for rondo, dwill, etc.

uhm... no... currently the best PG is Rose, followed DAMN CLOSELY by Westbrook... then CP3, DWill, Nash, THEN maybe Tony Parker...

The question is who the best PG is, best player in their position... Rose is single handedly winning games for the Bulls... You can argue quite well that Westbrook is better though cuz he can shut down Rose via their h2h... But Westbrook also has, u know, that scoring champion and FIBA MVP guy to dump off to when/if he needs to... While Rose, well, doesn't...

CP3 technically is the best PG because w/o him, the Hornets would pretty damn bad... but he's a pass first PG... he helps u win games, but he's not the game winner... and at the end of the game... people will remember the guy who hit the game winning shot over the guy that dished 20 asts...

Tony Parker... hell no... Manu is leading that team right now... He's fcking magic on the court, he makes the greatest plays out of nothing... Parker is #2...

Rondo honestly... I don't think he really deserves all the praise he gets... he has great vision and dishes well... but u gotta remember, he's got 3 future hall of famers on his team that have played the game long enough where they take ONLY take good shots... Ray Allen, Paul Pierce and KG are ALL shooting over .500... and all 3 are averaging about 12 shots a game... EACH... you can argue that it's because of Rondo's great passes/vision to set them up to shoot well... I mean it's possible... but I don't really think so...

So... what I'm getting at is... the best PG, should be the PG you want that can best help you win... and currently... that guy is Rose... hands down...
