Like the titles says, my media player isn't showing the names for the Asian songs that I have. I've already installed the traditional Chinese, simplified Chinese, Korean and Japanese language packs. There are still some songs that show up with weird symbols. Anyone have an idea as to what's going on?

As bb said, maybe its the tags. Renaming it sometimes wont work.

(Assuming you're Windows 7, may be same steps as Vista or XP)

    Go to file location

Right click a song, and click on properties.

Click on the "Value" tab. Then Title is the song name and Contributing Artist is the Artist.

Hover over it, and see if you can rename it.

If it doesn't let you, click the link down below "Remove Properties & Personal Info"

Click on "Remove the following..." THen check whatever. Press Ok. It should remove the title + the artist.

Now it should let you insert the song Title or Artist.

I know I can rename them, but I'd rather not...I don't have a lot of music, but its enough to take quite a bit of time.

Yeah. Cause WMP shows the song title according to the Tags. That's what sucks. Before.. it wasn't like that too. They had the Advanced Tag Editor too.. but they took that out. That Editor was soo useful.
