DROSE is heavily on stats, ask yourself i he's capable of facilitating. He surely has the skill to be one of those 'guards'. But PG title? I dunno. He was impressive, but his decision making was heavily 1 on 1.

I really like the NBA skills challenge LOL. But even then, the PGs & guards these days are just too good. A new breed they call it. rose/westbrook fits in similar category.

Was disappointing.. poor judging IMO. The first 4 dunks were good, but derozan deserved more points for his first dunk to get him into the finals.

as for the finals between mcgee and griffin.. i think it was obvious who was gonna take it regardless of who would be able to pull off a better dunk.. griffin so hyped up. when he brought out the choir and the car (props smh).. totally killed it. shit didn't even look that hard. mcgee's final dunk was just plain weak as well imo.

i wouldn't go too far as to say demar and ibaka were snubbed, but they definitely deserved more points than they were given credit for. east bay funk remix and show stopper? free throw line dunk and teeth dunk? fantastic dunks by both. to me, griffin disappointed, and mcgee played his hand too early (it sucks that ibaka stole the dunk he was supposed to do in the finals).

EDIT: actually now that i think about it, it should have been mcgee and derozan in the finals.

Stern seriously needs to prohibit Isiah Thomas from having any contact with NBA franchises (specifically the Knicks). There have been tons of reports about Thomas being part of the trade talks for Melo, that he's undermining Walsh through the idiotic Dolan, and that he's trying to get back into the organization. Although I'm not sure if everything is true, I'm pretty confident that the majority of allegations cagainst Thomas are true. Why else would Dolan not extend Donnie Walsh's contract? After he acquired Amare, Felton, Fields, Chandler and turned the Knicks into a respectable franchise after years of failure under the Thomas regime. It makes absolute no sense why Walsh's contract would not be extended, until you realize the Dolan has publicly stated that he goes to Thomas for advice.

I feel so bad for the Knicks fans right now. They're team FINALLY got back to form and they could be seeing it explode right before their eyes cause of Thomas' meddling. I don't even think i can respect him as a basketball player anymore after everything he's done in the NBA.

@Dunk Contest. Did you guys see the 2nd dunk by Blake? The first attempt with the crazy spin! I was so excited for that... And then he just wind-milled it. Would have been AMAZING.

So what are you trying to say? LOL
To me EXECUTION is very critical, and despite the 'spectacular' dunks, execution was poor for the big names. Remember back in the days?!

    Demar should've gotten a 50, same w/ Ibaka's FT dunk.

They sold Griffin so badly, and in the final round, I believe it was voted by fans.

Oh well, it's improved a lot. haha.

Yahoo sports article sometimes exaggerate things. The Knicks have improved a lot, a lot of rumors about Carmelo going there, dont' see why it won't happen. I mean if he wants to go, why not wait it out. They dont need to offer anything. lolz

i'm saying it should have been a derozan and mcgee final. regardless, griffin would have won in the finals given the fan voting and all the hype he had.

as for the all star game, a great great game. fun to watch for sure and the east made things interesting down to stretch. props to black mamba even though he got shut down in crunch time.
