Japan was hit with a magnitude of nearly 9, PLUS a tsunami PLUS four goddamned nuclear plants at risk (or have), blown up. Only reason why Haiti gets all the love is due to the fact that they're a country in poverty. Fucking selfish bastards love to help those who are less fortunate, making them look like Robin Hood and Saviours.
It's definitely though living in a nation that's neighbour to the fire ring. However they'll bounce back from this disaster. I have no doubt in my mind that Japan will rebuild itself to be stronger and better than it was. I find it inspiring how families are cooking all of their rice and food, and leaving it outside their door for passerby's to eat. It's not about selfish individual survival, it's the survival of a nation. I also find it admirable how they still keep as calm as they can, while waiting in line to PAY for supplies. Side note: apparently, during the evacuation, there was a huge road congestion and traffic jam, however not a single horn was sounded.
