SNSD for Marie Claire : Who Sold Out 1st? Recently, fashion magazine Marie Claire Korea unveiled 9 limited edition covers for their May issue, each featuring a different member of SNSD! This was one smart marketing move, as the covers were immediately snapped up by hardcore SONEs through the Marie Claire homepage. As always, there was a little competition among fans of each SNSD member. So whose covers managed to sell out the fastest? It seems that as of April 21st, Seohyun, Taeyeon, Jessica, Tiffany and YoonA‘s covers are no longer in stock. Seohyun’s cover was particularly well-received and supposedly the first to be sold out. This isn’t necessarily an indication of the girls’ popularity rankings, but I’m still surprised that Seohyun managed to sell out faster than her unnies. Gone are the days where the maknae always gets pushed to a corner…Maybe this news should prompt SM to give the other members more parts in SNSD’s future Korean comebacks, so that they are able to receive more recognition from the public! I'm not that surprised by it, SeoHyun has gotten a lot of publicity from WGM, that extended to other shows. She's in college now and looking more mature and better than ever. But for the most part, it may just be a coincident. The popular member all got sold out around the same time. A few more days till, "Mr Taxi" PV is out... The preview looks sexy...love the Black and Yellow.
That's true, most of the popular people in SNSD got sold out at the same time. WGM? PV = Preview video? Yup the preview at the end of Run Devil Run (RDR) showed a short 5seconds or possibly shorter of Mr.Taxi MV.

Haha I thought so because when I typed in Taxi dance on the search engine, I couldn't find the 'original' clip. You got to admit that it's a good edit though, the movement went well (most) with the Taxi taxi taxi.
In the Mr. Taxi PV.. i think it has the RDR feeling to it when they have the white background. This is a smart marketing move.. but i usually dont like these types of market because its kinda like "Whose the most popular in the group" kinda thing. It can give the company more.. thoughts about promoting the less popular ones.. but i think if the cover was as a group.. it'll do just fine too Thats my opinion though. ~~
^I wouldn't say that lol, Hyoyeon got lots of fans apparently. In every SNSD mv/vid i see people commenting and liking every comment that is Hyoyeon related lol. Anyways, I don't know if you guys notice this but the ones whos wasn't sold out got their hands on their waist. Maybe people hate that pose? LOL!
the three that is the least popular are Sunny, Hyoyeon and Seoyoung; compared with the others overall. Sunny is great on variety shows and have a great personality on TV. But she's just not as attractive as the others. Hyo is the dancing queen and all but she's doesn't bring much interest other than dancing. She rarely on any variety shows. Again, not consider one of the attractive ones. Sooyoung isn't known for her singing or dancing much, good figure and all but she doesn't grab the attention of the fans like some of the others. She can be funny on shows but she's not invited on any of the variety shows/other programs much. These three still have fans but if you go on some forum/sites, you can see hints, who are the popular ones by the amount of people visiting their threads. It's just my opinion.
