probably because she felt the family warmth from ah Baa aka Ms.ho's dad. You could tell from her reaction when she was looking at the bag of eels.
Nah that's not why. I still think it's family warmth that they provide. My conclusion didn't change much even after watching ep 10. Nope lol, she has a family. She is the youngest, she has one elder sister.
Well, the name fits her very much...Miss Koo aka Miss Cool plays the role great..my guess is that she hadn't felt so much family warmth in a long time..and when a bare ask her about her family she changed subject. so maybe terrible childhood??

Also Highlight below to read spoiler because the spoiler code isn't working for me. judging from what her sister said about going on holiday with the family and she rejected because of her teaching the bowling team at school. This caused the miserable looks from the parents to arise, so I would say it happens a lot that she doesn't spend much time or dislike them for a particular reason
I like that shes starting to have feelings for Law Sir, its cute, shes not that cool afterall haha (wonder if there are any fangirls who squeal for her at school like in anime when theres a hardcore female character)
its because shes from "chiu chow", and plus she wants family warmth that she saw in Tavia's family personally i dont like tavia's family cuz they look down on women too much, like they forbid Tavia to complete high school/go to college
So far im really enjoying linda over tavia i just dont see tavia's character interesting at all i really will be upset if moses in the end is not with linda.
