Converter: file to Mp3

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a good converter program to use to convert a file to Mp3 format.

what type of "file" are u referring to?
and are u willing to pay for one, or just want freeware?

 

I dl'd a song and the type just says file so i figured i have to convert it to mp3 format.

freeware pls?

mp3+ tons of other formats. If you are not sure which version to get, get the first link 32bit version.

maybe you should set show extension and add .mp3 if it was natively mp3 and they just forgot the extension. Also be caution that its not a virus.

 

Thank You. I dl'd the song from one of the threads here so i'm not worried about it being a virus.

u can do the simple test of just renaming it to .mp3 and test it out =)
